Whisky
Did you know that whisky is distilled from fermented barley, rye, wheat or corn. Malt Whisky is made from malted barley.
Whisky is originally beer, which is distilled. Malt Whisky is typically double distilled in copper kettles. The whisky is stored in casks of oak. A whisky must be at least 40% and at least three years old. When the whisky has been stored it is often around 50-60% “Cask strength” and will be diluted, often to 42% - 46%.
At Liquor-Store-Europe we work hard to offer a wide and interesting range of both original bottlings and "independent" bottlings of whisky.
