Marsala
Marsala is a wine produced in the region around the Italian city Marsala in Sicily.
The wine is locally often drunk as ordinary wine, but many other places it’s known as liqueur, which in its structure resembles port.
Marsala is characterized by having a relatively dark color and a complex aroma. The wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif, for desserts or after a meal. In addition, Marsala is very useful for cooking, and it comes in two versions - sweet and dry.
